What’s this newsletter about?

I was frustrated by the echo chamber of healthcare blogs. There was little original thinking. So, my goal is to write things that don’t sound like chatGPT. I suspect that means that at least 30% of people will disagree with them.

I’m here to spark healthy debate.

I'm Max Marchione, healthcare founder and investor.

In the past, I co-founded Next Chapter, a global member’s club for founders and investors. I also founded an early-stage venture capital fund, focused on health tech.

Before that, I helped scale seed to series B startups to 20m ARR and did a short stint at Goldman Sachs and GGV Capital.

These days I’m focused on building an ambitious healthcare company, and sharing what I learn via this newsletter.
